Mt Buller has more than 300 hectares of spectacular skiable terrain including more than 80kms of groomed trails. This amazing ski area is accessed via Victoria’s largest lifting network of 21 lifts operated by Lift Attendants/Operators who are motivated, safety conscious, and service oriented.

As part of our lift operations team, you’ll enjoy working in a spectacular alpine environment and thrive on face to face contact with our guests.

**What we’ll need from you**

Lift Attendants/Operators are the Mountain Operations team’s front line leaders and therefore you’ll be committed to providing an exceptional level of guest service. This means as our next Lift Crew Attendant/Operator, you’ll be active, engaging, able to identify ticket issues, monitor gate access and communicate with guests in an informative and friendly manner.

Your key deliverables will be:

- Safely and efficiently operate ski lifts, assisting guests with loading, unloading, and safety procedures ensuring everyone gets home safely every day.
- Maximise lift capacity by managing guest loading during peak times so our guests spend more time on the slopes then in the line.
- Perform manual snow removal as needed, to keep things safe and pretty
- Monitor Ski Data gate systems to ensure smooth access and optimal loading.
- Provide guests with lift pass, mountain information, as well as product knowledge so they make the most of their day, every day.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

Our non-negotiables are safety & service, if you can’t bring this, or the passion for the outdoors and the active lifestyle we live and breathe, this might not be the job for you. But if you’re ready to join us, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you to succeed.
- Available to work from the commencement of the winter season until the end of the season
- Your excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to maintain a pleasant, professional manner under pressure and during extremely busy times
- Your own ski/snowboard equipment including helmet
- Ability to physically work outdoors in different weather extremes and terrains, whilst still maintaining a friendly and positive disposition
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Your previous skiing and boarding experience will hold you in good stead as you ride to your lift stations and back each day
- Previous employment in Lift or Access Control operations at other resorts is an advantage but not essential

- Starting pay rate casual: $33ph up to $38ph
