About the role
The purpose of this role is to perform routine & periodic cleaning duties for external and internal areas of the Caboolture Hospital car park, support the car park operations team, and ad hoc gardening tasks.
About you
- Undertake general and periodic cleaning duties of external areas within Caboolture Hospital car park areas within the facility, ensuring that tasks are performed in accordance with Infection Control Guidelines and the Department of Health (DoH) Environmental Cleaning Guidelines. Tasks may include cleaning walls, windows, office toilets, furniture and fittings and sweeping, dusting, vacuuming/blowing and buffing/scrubbing/mopping etc.
- Operate a range of tools/equipment and machinery on which training has been provided and not operated by other specific trade occupations.
- Assist other car parking facilities within the Metro North Health network to cover leave/absence and perform training of new employees
- Assist contractors on site as directed by the Car park Coordinator.
- Report any and all maintenance requirements and safety issues in a timely manner to the Car park Coordinator.
