**Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference?**

As the Data and Reporting Analyst, you will develop and utilise best practice data analysis tools, techniques, and strategies to support the data analysis capability across SYC’s services.

Reporting to the Manager of Data Analysis and Insights, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality and accessibility of operational data and providing valuable insights to drive informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Collecting, analysing, and reporting key client operational data using a business intelligence approach.
- Developing clear, concise, accurate and detailed reporting for key internal stakeholders.
- Consolidating and studying data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data and reporting needs and quality assurance checking.
- Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities.
- Conducting ad-hoc analysis and providing data collection, reporting request, data visualisation and data modelling.

**About You**
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and/or other analysis and visualisation tools e.g. R, SPSS, Python, Tableau.
- Knowledge and experience of SQL and/or other query languages.
- Proven experience as Data Analyst or similar role, with expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong Analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and translate abstract information into high quality business requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data accurately.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Time management and organisation skills, able to plan, prioritise and achieve outcomes with mínimal supervision and/or direction and to successfully meet deadlines and KPIs.

Experience and/or knowledge of Community/Human Services and NGO or the ability to quickly acquire understanding.

**For this role, you will need to**:

- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Resident in accordance with government information security requirements.
