About the Role:
We currently have a permanent full-time role available for an IT Service Manager based in Blackburn, tasked with developing a truly exceptional, customer focused technology service to drive excellence and performance of IT systems at The Salvation Army.

As an IT Service Manager, you will help develop IT systems and processes for all levels at TSA and be the first point of contact for service management matters. As an IT Service Manager, you will to be responsible to deliver best practice service management (ITIL V3) policies, procedures & processes to drive efficient and effective ITS service delivery and operations.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Responsible for optimising IT operations, defining, measuring, and monitoring KPIs for the IT Department.
- Lead the development, implementation and roll out of ITIL V3.
- Drive continuous improvement in Service Management maturity.
- Ensure that knowledge and content is kept up to date and relevant.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and continued problems.
- Provide updates and reports on the status of service, performance an IT related issues.

About You

To be successful in this role you must have a degree in Computer Science or Business. To be considered for the role you must have worked in a similar role, with experiencing implementing ITIL V3.

You will be a team player who possesses a confident and engaging personality, but who also has excellent technical skills

Additionally, the following is highly valued:

- Degree in Computer Science or Business is mandatory
- ITIL Intermediate Certification is preferred
- ITIL V3 Expert is desirable
- Experience with O365 is highly desirable
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role managing across the ITIL lifecycle at a large enterprise especially in Change and Configuration Management
- At least 2 years' experience with leveraging off ServiceNow to implement ITIL V3
