You are a motivated corporate counsel with demonstrated abilities to be a key business partner to all departments across Asia Pacific. You will be expected to handle a wide variety of matters simultaneously and provide sound legal and business advice in a quick moving environment. As a highly curious individual, you will show keen interest in learning the business and deeply dive into understanding the wider implications of all business transactions. **Your next challenge**:
The nature of Getty Images’ business is constantly evolving. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Sales support, including: prepare, review, comment on and negotiate a variety of agreements and commercial transactions
- Maintain template agreements for Asia Pacific, to ensure enforceability and keep abreast of legal updates in the region
- Respond to and resolve disputes, legal claims and general enquiries from customers and colleagues
- Serve as a contact for troubleshooting legal issues that arise in the region
- Promote the legal team’s initiatives by providing ongoing training to internal and external customers, on salient legal issues affecting Getty Images’ business
- Corporate governance duties to maintain Getty Images’ network of Asia Pacific entities
- Take a proactive role in compliance and training
- Demonstrate your leadership by encouraging diversity, inclusion and collaboration
- Work closely with cross functional teams to drive continuous process improvement while developing relationships for long term solutions
- Work closely with outside counsel, your APAC legal colleagues and the wider global legal team
- Identify and provide guidance on emerging legal risks
- Work autonomously in a flexible working environment, including work from home and office location
- Be a volunteer to handle other tasks or urgent matters that may arise from time to time
- Work hard but have a great time doing it

**Knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Bachelor of Laws, JD or equivalent
- 2+ years of post-qualification legal work experience, preferable in-house
- Admitted to practice as a lawyer in New South Wales
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in intellectual property licensing, service contracts, regulatory risk, privacy and corporate law would be advantageous but not essential
- Solid experience providing legal support to customers
- Ability to communicate effectively across all functions and levels of the organization and be a solutions oriented team player
- Astute commercial awareness, strong organizational and robust time and project management skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely from your team with professionalism and with integrity.
