The APAC Associate General Counsel position will be responsible for managing general corporate legal matters in region, including new market entry activities, legal and regulatory compliance including privacy compliance, corporate governance and secretarial activities, and other local issues systemic to a diverse jurisdictional region. The position will also focus on supporting activities relating to business process improvement both within the Legal organization and between various departments.

This position requires strong interpersonal and persuasive skills, creative abilities for developing practical options and solutions to complex problems, business and financial acumen, as well as superior analytical and writing abilities. Essential are superior communication and presentation skills, ability to manage laterally and in a matrixed business model, and collaborate with colleagues in multiple timezones and geographies, functions and cultural orientations. Knowledge of and experience negotiating hosted/SaaS software transactions, and implementing privacy compliance across APAC is highly desirable.
