**Assistant Director | Out of School Hours Care (OSHC / OOSH) | Northern Beaches**
Are you an experienced and passionate educator ready to take the next step in your career or looking for a change of service? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Director at our vibrant OSHC service to join an already established leadership team.
Join a large service catering to over 200 children, located just 1km from the beach in a prime location (Freshwater) that is located on the school grounds and is a integral part of the school community.
As an Assistant Director, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, working alongside a dedicated Director and other Assistant Director's to provide exceptional care and support to the OSHC community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Director and other Assistant Directors in the day-to-day management and operations of the thriving OSHC service.
- Collaborate with educators to create engaging and holistic learning experiences aligned with the My Time, Our Place V2.0 Framework.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and develop their potential.
- Support and mentor educators, promoting their professional growth and ensuring high-quality education and care.
- Act as a Responsible Person and lead sessions for before, after and vacation care.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification (open to discussions on Certificate IV).
- Experience in OSHC or similar leadership positions (open to Early Childhood Education and Teaching backgrounds).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with children, families, and the broader OSHC community.
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), Quality Standards, National Law and Regulations.
- **CHCPRT001 **Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection.
- **HLTAID012 **Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting _(or willing to obtain, 1-day course)._
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or Exemption.
- A cooperative approach to working with stakeholders, management and educators.
- Experience using Xplor is an advantage.
- A warm and friendly personality that is passionate and has a genuine love for working with children.
