**About the role**
Our business is expanding to the Northern Beaches. We are now seeking an Allied Health Assistant to work at our Memory Innovations Centre. This centre aims to improve quality of life, wellbeing, and support cognition for older Australians. The programs we run focus on having fun, connecting with others, and stimulating the brain.

You will be responsible for implementing and facilitating group programs, and other related tasks, under the guidance of an Allied Health Professional.

This exciting opportunity is a fixed term contract to the end of June 2025 working initially for 1 day per week (approximately 5 hours) with the opportunity for additional hours as the business expands into Home Care packages. The role is due to commence April 2025.

**Requirements**:

- Cert III in Allied Health or related qualification (completed or currently studying).
- Experience facilitating group exercise programs and catering to clients with dementia.
- Confidence in leading a group while also engaging with each individual member.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Be proficient in the use of tablets/iPads apps for use in facilitating programs.
- Confidence to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

**Desirable**
- Experience in facilitating group programs in aged care
- Physiotherapy or exercise physiology backgrounds are desirable
