We are seeking the services of an experienced Principal Project Officer to work with a large QLD Govt Department. This is an initial 12 month contract role with the option of two further 3 month extensions.

Your role will include the review, prioritisation and implementation of a range of improvements to an existing client system. The delivery of the prioritised changes will involve engagement and collaboration with the relevant business team and other relevant stakeholders.
The required work will involve a review the existing ‘as is’ process maps, with consideration of the recommendations and opportunities for improvement to map the ‘to be’ processes. The project will progress to the planning and implementation of the activities to achieve the desired ‘to be’ state. The operational improvements will encompass workflows, CRM updates, policy updates and communications to stakeholders and customers.

**Your key accountabilities will include**:

- Review and implement operational improvements and changes to the business procedures and training materials.
- Facilitate the creation of a business case to secure funding and manage engagement with the relevant vendor to implement improvements
- Consult with other areas of the business to automate data sharing to improve the management of membership information
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to review and improve information for customers and industry, including online and printed information and all correspondence
- Support and engage with the business team, utilising change management principles, effective communication and collaboration.

Desirable skillsets and attributes for this role are:

- Qualification and demonstrated experience in IT system project management
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with business analysis and change management techniques
- Previous experience in CRM system projects ie MS Dynamics
