Team Leader (Aged Care) - Toowoomba

Our
**Toowoomba **team are currently looking for a
**full time Team Leader for permanent role working 76hr fortnight. **We are looking for someone to lead a team of Home Care Workers, help recruit, train and mentor your team
**. **We are seeking a Team Leader who has a particular interest and experience in aged care.

This role is based in our Toowoomba service.

**A typical day in your new role**:

- Provide supervision, leadership & guidance to Home Care Workers
- Provide customer service to our clients
- Assist with the recruitment of new staff

**What you need to apply**:

- Certificate IV in Home and Community Care or equivalent
- Current National Police Certificate - or willingness to obtain
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle

**To be successful you will also bring**:

- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - and the ability to relate to a wide range of people
- A sound understanding of the community care system and the people who utilise this service
- Diplomacy and negotiation skills; people management capabilities
