Amazing opportunity for a Purchasing Officer who wants to become part of this rapidly expanding national operation with global ownership. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing you will be responsible for supplier management, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring purchase orders meet supply chain deadlines.

General duties include:

- Preparing & processing requisitions and purchase orders for local and international supply partners.
- Coordination of accurate inventory levels to avoid stock shortages.
- Monitoring and managing outstanding orders.
- Arranging supplier quotes and enquiries of both new and existing products.
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Maintaining SRM systems.
- Conduct and review supplier performance.
- Identify efficiencies and cost saving through supplier negotiations.

To excel in this role you will bring the following levels of expertise:

- Relevant experience in supply chain/purchasing in a fast-paced SME organisation.
- Effective communication skills both written & verbal.
- Well-developed relationship building skill, the ability to influence outcomes.
- Outstanding critical thinking skills.
