**About Blue Tongue Adventure**

Blue Tongue Adventure is committed to empowering young adults living with disabilities by offering unique and engaging programs. Our programs are designed and led by qualified experts in various fields to provide standardised and high-quality experiences across all our locations.

**Role Overview**

We are on the lookout for a skilled Woodwork Expert to design and lead a specialised woodwork program for young adults living with disabilities. In this role, you'll lead engaging workshops where young adults can learn basic woodworking techniques, create functional and beautiful projects, and discover the joy of hands-on creation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Designing and leading specialised woodwork programs aimed at inspiring and empowering young people living with disabilities.
- Overseeing the delivery of the woodwork programs to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and engagement.
- Completing all required reporting within the program to the NDIS.
- Foster a positive work ethic and promote teamwork among participants.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Formal Qualification in relevant field.
- Previous experience working with individuals living with disabilities, preferably in a program facilitation or support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish meaningful connections with program participants.
- Creativity and innovation in program design, with a focus on engaging and empowering young people.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.

**Schedule**:

- This position includes travel to our Toowoomba space, with a vehicle provided.
- Available in permanent part-time or full-time capacity.

**Salary**: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
