An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol (SCEP) branch as Content Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
As the Content Officer you will support the content team to create high-quality digital and social media content for specific audiences and channels and support the delivery and operational requirements of the broader digital content strategy.
This role includes producing digital content from concept to execution, including creation, maintenance, scheduling, auditing and reporting. Also Monitoring and tracking channels and online discussions and triage identified opportunities, risks and issues.
The role requires high level communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships. A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, media or government communications would be highly regarded.
About you

- Proven working knowledge of data performance analysis on digital and social platforms; solid experience using analytics to understand audience behaviour and make data-driven decisions to increase audience engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to develop and deliver high-quality, innovative digital and social media content through a variety of channels using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
- Highly developed stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations.
- Strong service focus and ability to improve and correct problems with a positive and solution-orientated attitude.
