Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, the Communications Officer - Content will contribute to the planning and delivery of high quality and impactful communications, promoting the government and Authority's proejcts and achievements.
A strong project manager, writer and editor, the Communications Officer - Content will play an important role in developing a range of communication collateral for the Authority's website and social media channels including news items and other engaging branded written and visual assets (e.g. thought leadership articles, opinion editorials, newsletters and video scripts). They also have an understanding of how to optimise content for digital channels to support the Authority's digital engagement activities.
At times, the Communications Officer - Content may be asked to support the development of media releases and speeches for Ministerial media and event opportunities.
