Platform Delivery Lead

Together we’ll grow, excel for our customers, and make this a workplace to be proud of. - It’s a good time to see what more you can find at NAB as a **Platform Delivery Lead** **The role**: - You work closely with the Domain Orchestration leads, Sub Domain Orchestration Leads, Domain Delivery Leads and Heads of Engineering to orchestrate and sequence delivery of **cross domain business outcomes which need to co-exist on a shared technical platform**: - You facilitate collaboration between other Domains and dependent Technology service Teams that have squads simultaneously delivering on the same overarching technical platform. You contribute to domain and cross-domain forums. - You have people leader accountability for RTE roles within the domain to develop and grow delivery capability - You liaise between business and technology to coordinate delivery of complex and strategic initiatives - Where multiple Domains require delivery on a shared platform to enable business outcomes, you co-ordinate and negotiate required capacity, sequence the platform backlog and roadmap to reduce duplication of effort, feedback to domains/subdomain orchestration leads to enable prioritization, expedite the resolution of major blockers and impediments, and balance the Platform delivery to meet technical outcomes (hygiene, tech strategy, etc) - You work with the Domain leaders to understand demand and with the RTEs to match and sequence work to align to supply capacity. You drive continuous improvement of cadence and ways of working to improve clarity for stakeholders as well as focus for teams **Essential capabilities** - A Leader in agile and project methodology and ways of working - Stakeholder management - Project, program and portfolio management - Collaborate with others to deliver long-term strategy and technology roadmaps - Leadership - People Leadership and management - Complex Technology Platform delivery **Other capabilities**: - Strong working knowledge of project management / agile tooling - Able to navigate a large complex organisation, and build relationships with senior stakeholders - Change management within business and technology **Experience**: - At least 5 years in complex project, program, portfolio, or delivery management preferably with at least 3 years in banking and financial services - Experience in agile ways of working and agile at scale approach - Managing the delivery of very large complex programs containing multiple streams, with multiple vendors (typically >$30m excluding software & hardware) - Building, leading, and managing teams of between 10-100+ people (dotted line) - Extensive use of structured program and project management methodologies, inclusive of change management and technology delivery - Strong understanding of technology, analysis and business process-based solutions **Key Accountabilities**: - Align strategic direction of Tech delivery across sub domains and squads working on the same, highly complex technical platform - Provide targeted communication to all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables, and issues as well as to measure and manage stakeholder expectations. - You provide leadership across large-scale Technical Outcomes, with significant financial investment, broad resource demands, regulatory commitments and extended timeframes - You are required to develop deep working relationships with vendors across multiple (and competing) offerings, while operating in a highly complex stakeholder environment across multiple Domains - Coordinate the operating rhythm to support lean governance processes for all change activity on the platform - Create inputs to the Banks quarterly planning process and represent Platform Capacity (QDR) **A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone.** At NAB, we’re intent on building a culture we can all be proud of.
