**Description**:

- Processes funds transfer or settlement instruction in accurate and timely manner to ensure adherence to payment cut off time and SLA, escalate issues as needed. Investigates differences in cash processing and performs settlements and reconcilements.
- Adheres to and completes regulatory and compliance monitoring and reporting, as required.
- Completes setup and testing of the file transfer process and connectivity with clients.
- Serves as an escalation point for data processing issues and provides input on quality improvement process.
- Responsible for the quality and completion of own work and support the actional tasks assigned by senior team member or manager.
- Assists in collecting US tax documentation for IRS requirements
- Participates in business initiatives including new projects.

**Skills and experiences**:

- High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in financial services or payment processing role preferred.
- Good communication, organizational teamwork, interpersonal skills are essential.
- Knowledge of local payments systems (ie. Austraclear), as well as SWIFT payment system preferred.
