An exciting opportunity has become available for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join the
**Cash Settlements team **of this
**leading financial markets institution. 6 month fixed term contract.**

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for
**Financial Markets.** This is your chance to work alongside a small but highly successful
**team of 7x**, including an experienced
**Manager who will train, support and develop you** to establish a long term career within financial markets

**Your main responsibilities will include;**
- Daily preparation and input/transfer of payments
- Processing cash payments and receipts for all domestic and international transactions
- Settlement of **RTGS** and International Payments **(SWIFT)**:

- Monitoring and maintaining Trust Balances
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for all cash settlement queries
- Supporting clients over the phone
- Management of settlement reports
- Manage and prioritise your workload and working to strict deadlines

**To be considered for this opportunity, you MUST have**:

- **2+ years of experience** within **Cash Settlement or Payments** (ideally within a financial markets setting)
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong time management and organisation skills, and the ability to work to deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced Word and Excel
- Tertiary qualification in **Finance** is advantageous
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- A strong team player approach and the desire to assist others

6 month fixed term contract - potential to extend/convert.

Working holiday visas will be considered.

Working hours
**Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.**
