As an experienced IBM WebSphere Professional Services Consultant you will lead the migration of WebSphere Application Server (WAS Traditional) from AIX 7.1 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) v8.2. This is a critical role for ensuring a seamless transition while optimizing performance, security, high availability and reliability.

**Qualifications** About You**:

- Significant years of experience working with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), including installation, configuration and administration.
- Hands-on experience with WebSphere migrations, particularly from AIX to RHEL and a proven track record of executing enterprise-level migrations.
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL) and AIX, including command-line operations, scripting and system administration.
- Experience implementing and managing WebSphere in high availability environments, including clustering, load balancing, and failover mechanisms.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform for deployment and configuration management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders, document processes and present recommendations.
