**Key responsibilities**
- Supervise, monitor and facilitate safe face to face contact visits with children and young people and their birth parents.
- Building and supporting relationships between children and their parents.
- Provide transport for children and/or young people and or birth parents to facilitate contact visits
- Responsible for compiling a report based on what was observed during visits.
**Selection Criteria**
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Currently studying in a related community sector field.
- Experience in the direct care of children and young people.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and effectively engage with children and young people.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to closely monitor interactions between parent and children.
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Full Unrestricted Drivers licence (required)
- Current Working With Children’s Check and National Criminal History Record, or willingness to obtain.
- Education - Certificate I - IV (required)
**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience in supervising parents and children out of home care.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- First Aid certificate.
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
