We are seeking a female support worker to join our dedicated team ⭐️

At CHG Care we believe in building friendships and helping our participants to develop the skills in building friendships and community connections. Not only are we there for our participants but also the families and carers. We pride ourselves on building relationships with our participants.

**The Role**

We are looking for a confident female support worker to join our team in position that will see you providing practical and emotional day-to-day support to our participants during weekdays for both AM and PM shifts. Currently we are looking to fill for hours in a town local to Tweed Heads Ideally after someone with experience in the sector working alongside children.

- Companionship
- Social support
- Shopping
- Transportation
- Community access
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Personal care

**We are seeking staff who will**:

- Show initiative in their role
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Be empathetic and caring
- Show compassion and guidance
- Be committed to providing exceptional quality care to participants
- Flexibility to work with short notice from time to time providing coverage for staff who are unable to work on the same day or week
- Writing progress notes and incident reports during your shift.
- You have a smartphone and are able to use basic IT apps.
- Be available for both AM and PM shifts

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- Previous experience working in the role of a support worker or similar (Not essential but preferred)
- Work Rights in Australia (permanent resident or citizen)
- NDIS worker screening clearance (or police check)
- Working with children check
- First Aid Certificate (Not essential but preferred)
- CPR certificate (Not essential but preferred)
- A current Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance (preferred)

- Day shift

- Morning shift
