**About the role**

As Prestige Inhome Care grows, this role has been developed to provide ongoing support to our nursing team and clients. We are committed to helping people live happily and safely in their own homes for as long as possible. This is an opportunity for a motivated registered nurse looking for a blended role that works actively with a team and the community.

This role will be the main contact for the Service Delivery team for daily clinical queries and escalation, support in areas of: recruitment for nursing requirements for VIC and NSW; induction and education for direct care staff; high level supervision and leadership to nurses in VIC; and support the Clinical Services Manager with the same in NSW.

Alongside these duties, there would be a couple of days a week where the Nursing Team Leader would provide rostered, in the field clinical support, medications administration, VACC dressings, clinical assessments and nursing report as required.

Reporting to and working alongside the Clinical Services Manager to develop the role, the Nursing Team Leader role is a hybrid of office -based support and in the field clinical support.

You revel in coaching and developing your team. You get a kick out of recognising talent and seeing people grow. This could be from your experience in recruiting, coaching, developing and training teams.

You have a real passion for the industry. You love making someone’s day and making a difference in people’s lives really resonates with you and this dictates how you go about your day to day. This gives you a great eye for continuous improvement and an appetite for ongoing initiatives that promote person centred care.

You are a Registered Nurse (current Ahpra) with great clinical skills, experience in treatment and following clinical protocols and procedures. Previous supervisory experience in this role is essential. Experience in aged care, palliative care and community care including in home care is ideal.
