Retail Supervisor

We are currently seeking a passionate and driven **Retail Supervisor** to join our Team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, who will go above and beyond to ensure continuous improvement of our process and service standards. In this hands-on role, you will lead, mentor, and motivate your Team to ensure we deliver professional, efficient, and friendly service. You will be an experienced Retail professional with proven operations and leadership skills that will support the Retail Teams. In this role you will work across all 5 of the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Retail outlets along with supporting out Photography Team. You will never be bored working in this amazing venue.

**Some of the things you’ll be doing**:

- *You will be a friendly, welcoming & self-motivated person who can genuinely lead. You will have the ability to have a natural sense of fun whilst being able to supervise, motivate & inspire
- Lead by example to ensure Team deliver an efficient & friendly Guest service. This role includes training & supervision, ensuring policies & procedures are met, WH&S service standards adhered to.
- This is a fast paced where you will be available to assist the Team with core duties hands on as required
- Roster management, stock control & recruitment support.
- Maintain outlet presentation with to desired visual merchandising benchmarks, with the ability to create eye catching displays & layouts to drive incremental revenue
- You will seek to maximize revenue & minimize costs throughout the Retail departments to meet departmental & company budgets.
- This is a full-time role which includes working one weekend day, with flexibility required.
- Full time Salary of $60,000 plus superannuation.

**What we are looking for**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience at a Retail supervision level, preferably within a multiple outlet organisation.
- Ability to set clear goals, control resources & motivate Teams to achieve performance objectives & targets.
- Experience with Team training & writing SOPs to ensure excellent Guest service is delivered.
- Strong visual merchandising skills with clear attention to detail which reflects in outlet presentation.
- A self-motivated Team player who can communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- An understanding of stock control & inventory process with analytical ability to make informed decisions
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and POS operations
- Works at a fast pace but always remains calm under pressure and is solutions orientated with a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude
- Must have physical fitness to walk long distances, stand for long periods and able to repeatedly lift & move items up to 10kg.
- Be prepared to work in an outdoor environment, in all weathers, in a workplace that may contain animals including birds and reptiles.
