**Description**:
Quick Overview of the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Operator/Loader to join our Transport team in a full-time permanent capacity. You will oversee the operations in the Yard to ensure safe and effective production. You will have prior experience in loading operations, be forward thinking and a proactive individual who can multitask to achieve the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before it is used
- Report any faults to Supervisor immediately
- Drive/ reverse trailers in the yard, cage and bar shop
- Ensure Safe load/ unload of all trucks
- Stock count weekly
- Keep yard neat, tidy and safe
- Empty scape bins
- Work with manager to have yard set up
- Help load cells onto trucks
- Load Bar/ Coil into shed

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Previous experience in production processes and quality control
- Physically fit and able to operate machinery
- Forklift licence
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organised with an ability to follow directions and safety requirements
- Good understanding of computer programming
- Truck licence (HR-MC) an advantage
- Training in COR requirements desirable
- First Aid qualification desirable
