- *Prospect Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraiser to join our dedicated, friendly and supportive fundraising team. If you are passionate about helping people to raise money whilst working towards the achievement of targets and want to do it for a brilliant cause then we have just the job for you

Now is a very exciting time to join us as we have seen our community all start being able to mix and fundraise for us again this year. So our fundraising team is growing in order to raise vital income to enable us to care for people with life limiting illnesses in our community. We raise income through various events, activities and platforms working with our community to promote the hospice and are passionate about providing excellent supporter care.
Community and Events Fundraiser - Job Description

**Hours**: core hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 (Ability to work evenings and weekends for time off in lieu is essential).

What is the role?*
- *As a community fundraiser you are responsible for your own income and expenditure targets, you will be a key contact with all our supporters, building robust and sustainable relationships in our local community. You will give an excellent supporter experience by offering support and guidance to groups and individuals organising events and activities in aid of the hospice, helping them to fully maximise their fundraising opportunities and providing an excellent level of relationship management.

As a confident and outwards facing person, you will talk to and support a wide range of individuals and groups, both face to face, via presentations as well as effectively carrying out administrative duties. You will be an ambassador for the charity, keen to recruit sign-ups, encourage full fundraising potential and galvanise further support. Community income streams are a main focus therefore you will have demonstrable experience of forming and maintaining relationships with a local community to include individuals, groups and associations.
If you have great relationship management and building skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities, this could be the role for you.
