We're an event hire company based in Oakleigh, seeking a confident and proactive Warehouse Storeperson to join our team If you have a proven track record in warehouse management, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you

**The Role**:

- Full-time position, Monday to Friday (optional hours and weekend work available if desired)
- Permanent position with opportunities for career advancement and leadership roles
- Competitive salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Manage and optimise warehouse operations, including inventory control and order fulfilment
- Assist management in coordinating a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Implement process improvements and efficiencies as directed by management to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and goals

**We're Looking For**:

- A strong background in warehouse work
- Confidence and knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and management
- Computer proficiency - must be comfortable learning new systems
- A current forklift license and a commitment to safety and quality
- Industry experience is preferred but not essential
