Dental Assistant and Receptionist

_Position purpose_

The Dental Assistant and Front Desk will assist the dental operator in their role and support the operation of the surgery as required.

*dental office experience is must for this job
- Main tasks_

Core objectives include:

- Assist the dental operator as required
- Prepare operatory/surgery for patient treatment
- Sterilizing of instruments
- Maintaining the operatory/surgery in accordance with the practice infection control manual
- Chair side assistance
- Managing appointments as well as payments at front desk
- Assist with future treatment bookings
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be honest and reliable

Cert III Dental Assisting advantageous
- Experience_
- Relevant practical experience of at least 2 years is required
- Knowledge_
- Sterilisation procedure knowledge required
- Knowledge of supplies, instruments, equipment services ordering and stock control
