Position purpose

The Dental Assistant and Front Desk will assist the dental operator in their role and support the operation of the surgery as required.

*dental office experience is must for this job

ADC candidates are not eligible for this role

Main tasks

Core objectives include:

· Assist the dental operator as required

· Prepare operatory/surgery for patient treatment

· Sterilizing of instruments

· Maintaining the operatory/surgery in accordance with the practice infection control manual

· Chair side assistance

. Managing appointments as well as payments at front desk

· Assist with future treatment bookings

· Attention to detail is a must

· Must be honest and reliable

Qualifications

Cert III Dental Assisting advantageous

Experience

· Relevant practical experience of at least 2 years is required

Knowledge

· Sterilisation procedure knowledge required

· Knowledge of supplies, instruments, equipment services ordering and stock control
