**About The Role**:
In this hands-on role you will support the delivery of technology solutions through strategic corporate projects or other general initiatives, working closely with a range of stakeholders across QIC and its technology partners. Core accountabilities will include:

- Supporting delivery teams to run scoping and planning sessions, project workshops, sprint planning, solution showcases, retrospectives, and prioritisation workshops
- Completing detailed data analysis including documentation of data objects, data relationships, and system-to-system mapping
- Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
- Completing detailed business and technical analysis working with teams to develop solution options and document risks and mitigation strategies
- Effectively engaging with users to understand, document and resolve system request needs to the user’s satisfaction
- Support system releases and upgrades as required
- Providing high quality end user training and ad-hoc end user support to enable system users to effectively operate within existing functionality
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
- Design and develop changes to a corporate system databases
- Supporting QIC business users in the execution of user acceptance testing

**About You**:
You will have experience across the software development lifecycle and be able to quickly understand, interpret and translate complex business processes, data and technology concepts. You demonstrate a firm grasp of database development technology and languages (including SQL) and a track record for delivering change in a corporate landscape. You will also ideally present with:

- Bachelor level degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Information Management, or equivalent relevant experience
- 2+ years’ experience using SQL, or equivalent database development
- Experience working in a systems/business analyst role (or equivalent)
- Analysis skills, including the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of business processes and end user requirements through information gathering and researching alternatives, implementation, and review
- Ability to translate requirements to technical and functional specifications
- Experience working with complex data sets and strong documentation skills
- Excellent client service skills with well-developed communication skills
- Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile Methodologies and Azure functionality are desirable, but not essential
