**Position Purpose Statement**
Due to internal promotion, we have an opportunity for an Analytics and Performance Reporting Specialist to join the Procurement team. In this role you will use your skills and expertise to provide timely and accurate analytics and insights tools, training, support and performance reporting for the Procurement & Supply Chain and broader Metro teams to drive better data and fact-based decisions.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operations, Systems and Analytics, this role is a key enabler for the procurement operating model by creating and refining the spend model and automated and self-learning (AI) verification to assist with highlighting non-conformance for relevant managers to action. In addition, you will be part of a supportive team who are focused on collaborating with each other and helping you achieve your career aspirations.

**About the Role**
- As the Procurement Specialist, you will:
- Provide tender evaluation support and Sourcing Toolkit development, e.g., develop evaluation templates and pricing models for RFx, build TCO models as required
- Support BAU sourcing by providing insights into Metro expenditure patterns, Spend Tool refresh, training, cleansing, validation, and administration
- Upskill the Procurement Team members to enhance their analytical capability and increase usage of analytical tools
- Establish, develop, and refine spend, compliance and other reporting tools to automate regular reporting
- Provide executive reporting and analytical insights for the souring, contracting, purchasing and governance process
- Establish, develop, and refine tools that solve Finance & Commercial problems, (e.g., process efficiency, cost savings, revenue growth, EBIT leakage) for Procurement Leadership team or Finance & Commercial Business Partners to action with appropriate stakeholders.
- Make improvement recommendations on master data and system changes that would improve data and reporting quality, system performance or user experience.

**About You**
- To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Data Science or Analytics
- Demonstrable experience in developing multi-dimensional analytical models
- Previous experience in training users on analytical capability uplift
- Experience with artificial intelligence setup and calibration, or predictive analytics (desirable)
- Previous experience in using Procurement Systems (Ellipse, Ariba, Avetta) or similar source to pay systems (desirable)
