The role This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence health outcomes for Queenslanders by coordinating the development and implementation of high level social marketing strategies based on appropriate behaviour change theories. Reporting to the Director - Strategy, Marketing and Communication, Strategic Communication Branch, you will deliver state-wide strategic communications frameworks, lead key market research projects, and support project teams across the branch. An effective leader, you will mentor, grow, and manage your high-performance team to define and deliver innovative solutions that contribute to delivering health priorities.
The successful personYou will have extensive experience developing, implementing and evaluating complex behaviour change strategies and activities, and have experience managing social research projects. This will be supported by your high level communication experience and relationship management skills. You are an expert communicator with the ability to provide expert strategic advice and to identify, build and maintain effective business relationships and partnerships through collaboration and consultation. You will be able to actively engage, inspire and successfully influence all levels of the organisation to achieve strategic outcomes. Additionally, you will have robust analytical and problem solving skills to deliver strategic project advice to stakeholders and executive management.
