**Job Description**:
**The** **Como Melbourne - MGallery** has an opportunity for a luxury-minded Hotel professional to lead the team as **General Manager** in one of the most unique and elegant 5 star boutique hotels in Melbourne. As General Manager, you will showcase your inspiring leadership skills, along with your strategic vision; to drive an engaged team, provide a personalised guest experience and maximise operating results.

This is a fabulous opportunity for a General Manager or Hotel Manager with previous experience to autonomously lead and drive success across the boutique 5-star Hotel.

We are looking for a leader who is a true service professional that will embrace the MGallery brand - the epitome of chic style and sumptuous elegance - and preserve the discreet, impeccably personalised service that The Como Melbourne - MGallery is renowned for.

As General Manager you will be responsible for:

- leading the overall management and strategic direction of The Como Melbourne - MGallery
- building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, owners, and suppliers
- supporting all departments in the achievement of operational targets
- maximise the property in terms of profit and management of financials
- champion employee engagement, promoting a sustainable collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists

**Qualifications**:
A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.

**About you**
- Previous experience as a General Manager, or Hotel/Operations Manager with experience as an acting General Manager. Preferably within a boutique Hotel environment.
- A proven leader with a strategic vision and demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of experienced professionals
- Ability to deliver creative and innovative service experiences
- Clear communication, creating impactful relationships with your team and guests
- Fosters a positive owner relationship
