We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Stream Lead to join our client's team based in Canberra. As the Technical Stream Lead, you will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of our client's Product Line throughout its lifecycle. You will work closely with the Product Owner, Product Manager, and other team members to ensure the successful translation of business goals and objectives into technical solutions. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within a supportive and inclusive work environment.

**What you'll do**:

- Provide technical direction for the Product Line, collaborating with the Product Owner to align with business goals and objectives.
- Utilize your expertise in system design, network design, architecture design, and security design to guide the development of the Product.
- Conduct impact analysis on major design options, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
- Review systems designs for appropriate technology selection, efficient resource utilization, and integration of multiple systems.
- Mentor and guide the Product team (5+ staff) to ensure efficient development and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to manage the Product Line schedule and ensure timely processing of tasks.

**Requirements**:

- The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) NV1 security clearance or higher.
- Must be an Australian citizen.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as an Engineering Technical Lead within complex and/or large-scale ICT Projects/programs.
- Sound knowledge of system design, network design, architecture design, and security design concepts and methodologies.
- Minimum 2 years of Agile/DevOps/Scrum experience.
- Experience in requirements elicitation across stakeholder communities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver within challenging timeframes.
- Australian Government, Defence, or Defence Industry experience (desirable).
- Successful delivery of a Product within complex and/or large-scale ICT Projects/programs (desirable).
- Experience in Cyber Security Projects' engineering roles (desirable).
