**About the role**

WesTrac are seeking an experienced and team-orientated tradesperson to join the team as a Leading Hand within our Undercarriage & Radiator Workshop

As a Leading Hand with WesTrac, you will be responsible for supporting your crew and the wider department to deliver CAT quality standard repairs. Utilising your trade experience, our Leading Hand will assist in establishing a new business function and collaborate with team to complete assembly and disassembly of undercarriage and radiator components.

You will excel in a fast-paced work environment whilst also balancing the need to provide guidance and leadership to your crew as required. **The important stuffroster & remuneration**

Monday-Friday (48-hour week + rotating days/nights)
- Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
- Monday to Thursday 10.5 hour shifts, Friday 8.5 hour shifts
- Day Shifts Monday - Thursday: 5:30AM - 16:00PM
- Day Shifts Friday: 5:30AM - 14:00PM
- Night Shifts Monday - Thursday: 16:00PM - 02:30AM
- Night Shifts Friday: 14:00PM to 22:30PM
- Hourly rates starting from $52.17+
- Overtime rate* starting from $78.26+
- overtime is paid once an employee works over 50 hours

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Mechanical or Fabrication Trade Qualification (Australian trade recognised)
- Familiarity with Caterpillar Equipment
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Strong job planning skills
