**Your role**

We’re looking for a Records Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting the implementation of records management programs in line with policies, procedures, and guidelines.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide advice to employees in relation to records management and related functions to enable all relevant business information to be recorded, maintained and secured
- Support the design, implementation and coordination of records management projects that deliver effective business unit outcomes and meet client service delivery needs.
- Provide training to staff on records management systems to enable efficient and effective business use of systems and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Manage the disposal of Departmental records in accordance with approved disposal schedules.
- Monitor and review business requirements in records management to ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and guidelines
- Provide advice to business areas on capacity and capability to manage records through their lifecycle to comply with policies and procedures
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders in all record management activities to support compliance with agreed quality and best practice records management standards across the Department.

**What we’re looking for**
- Strong knowledge of records management principles and practices.
- Ability to advise on and implement effective records management solutions.
- Excellent communication and training skills to educate staff on systems and compliance.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

To be successful in the role you will need to have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012.
