**One-year fixed term part time role (with view to extend) working 4 days per week**:

**About the role**:
Our team works together to create trusted places where people gather, community is strong and lives are transformed. We walk with each person to understand the unique circumstances of their life and we empower them to live well through practical and reliable support.

This role will be providing the highest possible standard of support and clinical case work to clients within a trauma informed care framework.
- Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum)
- Experience in working in case work or counselling role with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence
- Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation
- Extensive experience working in a trauma informed, client centred way
- Experience in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities
- Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people/communities
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Thai is desirable
- Models & promotes BaptistCare vision, purpose and practises & leads others aligned with our Shared Values
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations
- Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management
- Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People Registration
- Current drivers’ licence required
