**The Role**

My client is an Australian leading food and manufacturing business with strong brands and innovative products, they are a major supplier to supermarkets, food service and bakeries.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Health and Safety Coordinator,
**you will be working across 5 sites.** Reporting to the National WH&SE Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Assist with the implementation and reviewing of policies and procedures
- Undertake regular site visits conducting audits, inspections and observations
- Assist with WHSE improvement initiatives
- Deliver strategies to reduce workers compensation claims
- Provide support to sites in risk management of hazards and implementing control measures
- Assist in coordinating return to work programs
- You will be visible on the factory floor, ensuring commitment to safety

**Your Background**

In order to be successful for this role you will have:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum Cert IV or Diploma in WHS
- Demonstrated experience in injury management & return to work
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently
- Hands-on approach
