**About the Role**:
This is a dynamic leadership position where you'll oversee the entire Vic operations across 8 to 10 Melbourne based automotive dealerships and service centres. You will manage and support a team of approximately 20 people with potential to grow this number. The team will include car washers, detailers and yard hands across various sites. You’ll liaise regularly with customers and car retailers, report to Head Office, and uphold our commitment to safety, ethics, and excellence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and coordinate detailing operations across several Melbourne sites
- Manage, mentor and support 20 team members
- Liaise with automotive retailers and clients to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor the car wash and detailing standards
- Handle rostering, timesheets, and leave requests
- Coordinate relief staff as needed
- Support, train and induct all new and existing staff
- Conduct regular site audits, manage WHS compliance, and promote a safe work culture
- Provide regular reporting to Head Office on performance and site needs
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve client concerns, and drive continuous improvement
**About You**:
- Experience working within the automotive industry highly regarded
- Basic understanding of car detailing and wash techniques preferred
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams
- Excellent communication and client liaison ability
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety, compliance, and high standards
- Able to work independently
- Flexibility to travel between sites across Victoria
- Proven ability to monitor and drive KPIs
- Current full Driver’s Licence is essential (manual preferred but not essential)
