WesTrac are currently seeking a Material Logistics Officer at our Welshpool facility. This is currently a 3 month leave coverage position.

Reporting to the **Rebuilds Forecast Planning Supervisor** the **Operational Support - Material Logistics** position is responsible to support the Rebuilds Execution team with regards to all parts, including PEX, FlexiParts and Reman materials procurement, creation of all parts on work orders at time of Purchase Order, expediting of approved goods, quarantining and reclamation of stock items required for rebuilds tasks.

The **Operational Support - Material Logistics** are the single point of contact for parts relating to the sourcing & completion of PEX, FlexiParts and Reman offsite components with responsibilities relating to effective component turn-times, quality of all parts received and dispatched and responsible for the allocation of parts to the end state work area, supporting the ‘parts to the bay on the day’ ensuring compliance to plan to achieve WesTrac’s targets of productivity and compliance.

**Roster**:

- 8 days on 6 days off - 10.5 Hour days including a meal break

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Trade certificate + 3 years post trade experience or 6 years’ experience in similar role
- Minimum Year 12 High school certificate
- Desirable - Diploma in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management
- Minimum 12 months’ work experience in a professional role, with exposure to functions of sourcing, logistics, procurement, or wholistic supply chain management
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including consultation, negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP/Ariba
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to analyse problems and provide appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously

**Reporting to the Bunbury Field Supervisors, this position is a fixed-term 12 months contract.**
