Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our organisation? We’re looking for an Identity and Access Manager to join our high performing team based at Barangaroo. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our identity and access management (IAM) processes. Your focus will be on process development, automation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. You’ll also oversee our identity platform and contribute to our technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce IAM policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry regulations and organizational goals.- Design, implement, and manage IAM systems, including user provisioning, role-based access control, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize access requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.- Conduct regular access reviews, certifications, and audits to ensure appropriate entitlements and minimize security risks.- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to measure IAM effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to junior team members.- Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and threats in IAM space, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the maturity of our IAM posture.

You will:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.- Have proven experience as an Identity & Access Manager or similar role in a large, complex organization.- Have a deep understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices, particularly in cloud environments.- Have recent professional experience with IAM tools such as Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or Azure AD.- Have strong knowledge of directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), data protection principles, and encryption methods.- Have advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex IAM challenges.- Be an effective communicator & collaborator, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.- Hold certifications in IAM or related fields
