1st year apprentice required for a structural steel company at Peakhurst.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to pursue a career and can demonstrate an eagerness to learn. You must be willing to undertake further study at TAFE, leading to a trade qualification in Certificate III in Heavy Metal Fabrication.

Will learn a broad range of skills.

A Metal Fabricator fabricates and installs: bollards, posts, columns, beams, handrails, platforms, balustrades and other steel items on residential, industrial and commercial buildings. The work conducted by our company includes working in a team.

Applicants will work 4 days a week in our factory (with optional overtime) and be paid to attend TAFE one day a week and study Heavy Metal Fabrication Engineering Cert III.

**To be successful you must**:

- Be willing to listen, learn and follow directions
- Show that you have the ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Be willing to travel to TAFE one day a week
- Be willing to work hard and have an ambition to succeed
- Have a responsible attitude
- Have a passion for the trade
- Must be living in Australia (the position is in Peakhurst, Sydney NSW)
