Our client is a reputable fabrication workshop specialising in metal works, known for their precision, innovation, and dedication to quality. Their projects range from custom fabrications to large-scale industrial components, catering to a diverse clientele. To support their growth and continue providing exceptional service, They are seeking experienced Trade Assistants with a strong background in metal cutting, grinding, and polishing to join their dynamic team.

**Role Overview**:
As a Trade Assistant, you will be an integral part of the fabrication process, working closely with skilled tradespeople to produce high-quality metal products. This role requires hands-on experience with metalwork, a keen eye for detail, and adherence to safety standards. You will also have opportunities to work on-site, requiring a valid White Card and a driver's license.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in cutting, grinding, and polishing metal components with precision.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools used in metal fabrication.
- Support tradespeople in assembling and finishing projects.
- Follow detailed project specifications and quality control measures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Assist with on-site installations and projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure materials and tools are prepared and available for each project.
- Contribute to inventory management and procurement of supplies.
- Proven experience in metal cutting, grinding, and polishing.
- Possession of a current White Card for construction work.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to on-site locations.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
- Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
