**Want to help run basketball games?**
We run a variety of basketball games during the evening & Saturday in Footscray each week.

**About You**:
You love basketball
You are available Tuesday & Thursdays 5.45pm - 9.15pm. Saturday 1pm - 4pm
You have experience in the basketball industry, as a **REFEREE**
You love talking to people
You have been described as approachable, outgoing and fun.
You have a positive attitude and a keen eye for details
You have a mature mindset, can take responsibility & criticism in your stride
You can work autonomously and in a team

**Team Experience**
Welcome and check in Basketball613 Members
Get feedback from players to help improve games, debrief to the Manager weekly
Oversee the retention of players for the next season
- **Help bond players together for their games**_

**Game time**
Keep the game running on time and help with substitutions
Referee any calls the players cannot agree on
Take a couple of team photos each season

**The role**
Setup teams before play
Get some music going
Welcome new players & facilitating a fun experience.
Referee autonomously or lead others
Final scores uploaded at the end of the match
There may be a handfull of jerseys that require laundry before next game
This role is 6-8 hours per week, being available between those times is essential.

**Package details**:
$35 per hour and can be claimed as a hobby therefore does not require taxation
Opportunity to play at any of our competitions when teams are short numbers for games

**Nice to haves**:
First Aid Certificate
Ability to play games where attendance is low

**About**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour
