**CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a Team Leader for our Targeted Early Intervention program.**

**About the role**

This role provides clinical oversight and supervisory support to Caseworkers delivering family support to children, young people and their families. CatholicCare Child, Youth and Family services deliver early intervention Family Support across the Northern Sydney District, working with young people and families who are experiencing trauma or other parenting difficulties.

The role contributes to the overall leadership and strategic direction of the wider team.

This is a permanent part-time position with an option to be based in Waitara or Artarmon.

At times you will be required to attend all Northern Sydney family centers (Waitara, Artarmon and Brookvale). Don’t worry - CatholicCare has your kilometeres covered

**Duties**
- Triage and case allocation for the Family Support team.
- Work with families and children on a range of issues that include Domestic Violence, Mental Health and Alcohol and drug misuse in the family context and child safety.
- Provide technical and supervisory support to other targeted early intervention caseworkers within designated reporting lines.
- Work within the Targeted Early Intervention program guidelines that align to the Human Services Outcomes Framework, working effectively with clients on targeted outcomes, collecting and reporting on outcomes to ensure we are meeting the needs of the clients and communities we serve.

**Requirements**:

- Significant experience or extensive knowledge in trauma informed, strengths-based casework Interventions and Human-Rights frameworks.
- Ability to develop family-based interventions which increase child safety.
- Sound understanding of Family Systems theory and working systematically with families.
- Family problem solving and engaging and effective communication skills.
- National criminal history check.
- Current NSW Driver’s License.
- Access to an insured vehicle.
