**Responsibilities**:
Macmahon is looking for a proactive **People Advisor**to join our Surface Mining People Operations team, supporting our Queensland Mine Sites. You’ll deliver hands-on generalist HR support, partnering with leaders and employees to improve employee experience and business performance. This role focuses on practical talent management, culture and compliance solutions helping our teams work effectively and grow.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to make a real impact within a supportive, growth-focused team.

**About the role**
- Provide HR/ER advice, coaching, and support.
- Manage/support investigations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and respond to workforce needs.
- Partner with the business for cyclical people activities.
- Based in central CBD Brisbane office with regular site travel.
- Permanent full-time role with competitive salary and growth opportunities.

**About you**
- Certificate, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industry
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing employment legislation and HR policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently on an assigned portfolio of work but also as a collaborative team member
- Developed critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Hold a valid Driver’s Licence
- Proficient in the use of SuccessFactors would be advantageous
