**About the Role**
We run two construction based businesses based in the Western Suburbs.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has a strong eye for accuracy, and can manage small business accounts with care and efficiency.
We require a two-three days a week commitment. You would be located over two offices. One in Nedlands and the other in North Fremantle.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Record and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage payroll and superannuation.
- Prepare and lodge BAS and other compliance reports.
- Support month-end reporting and liaise with accountants as needed.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in accounting systems.
**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting for small to medium businesses.
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
- Sound understanding of ATO requirements (GST, PAYG, super).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification preferred.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
