We have Victoria’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide leading paediatric services in many areas including Rehabilitation, Oncology, Diabetes and Eating Disorders.
**A Day in the Life**:
As a grade 2 Dietitian with Monash Children’s Allied Health you will:
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary colleagues across the service to foster clinical excellence and consistency of practice.
- Be primarily providing nutritional assessment and management of children & adolescents with Eating Disorders and children & adults (attending MMC) with Cystic Fibrosis, both as inpatients and outpatients. The position also provides the opportunity for some clinical work in nephrology.
- Have the opportunity to be involved in supervising Dietetics students.
- Travel may be required to Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital and community locations.
This position is well supported by a large, dynamic, team with supervision by a Senior Paediatric Dietitian. The position offers training, professional development, the opportunity to cover a range of clinical areas and undertake quality activities and projects.
**What you Need**:
- A relevant Dietetics qualification - eligible for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and APD program.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Paediatric Dietitian
- Experience in teaching, training and education
- Demonstrated clinical skills in paediatric nutritional assessment and management across a range of caseloads
- Experience in the nutritional management of Cystic Fibrosis / Eating Disorder patients would be an advantageexcellent interpersonal skills, a strong team focus and an innovative approach
