**Nextt are seeking a passionate and outgoing Disability Support Worker to provide essential community support to 2 wonderful clients in Newcastle**

**About the role**
Supports are designed to assist with a range of daily activities that promote independence and community engagement. These include help with accessing the community for shopping, visits to the chemist, and attending medical appointments. Assistance is also provided with meal preparation, cooking, and budgeting to support healthy living and financial awareness.

**Shifts (weekly)**
- **Thursday**: 2:30pm - 4:40pm
- **Friday**: 9:30am - 2:00pm

**Pay Rates**
**SCHADS Award B2.1 Casual Rates (before tax)**:

- Base hourly rate: $41.76
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $45.94
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $46.77
- Saturday: $58.47
- Sunday: $75.17
- Public holiday: $91.88

**Your Certificates and Licences**
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current)
- Working with Children Check (Current)
- Australian Driver's License
- Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle
- NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
- First Aid and CPR (Current)

All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
