Your new boss is motivational, determined and runs into headwinds. Working with a network of global entrepreneurs (predominantly in the USA) she is a trusted coach and mentor who holds business owners accountable for kicking goals (left, right and centre).

The Business & Operations Manager position is a newly created role that will be pivotal in catapulting this business to even further heights. A collaborative community has been established over the past 10 years and there is so much potential to keep pushing boundaries to achieve impressive growth.

Based in Brisbane, this is a hybrid role that will see you split your time between working directly beside the Founder, and from home. You will be instrumental in carving out more time for the Founder, taking away the whole spectrum of day-to-day business tasks in order for her to focus her attention on strategic planning.

This role is an intriguing mix of small business management, HR and team leadership. We hope you like wearing hats, because you'll be sporting all shapes and styles in this position.

There is no set job description, or list of daily tasks. You'll be working in tandem with the Founder to identify the needs and requirements of the role, and where your time is best placed in the business. You're a strategic, competent operator with an agile mindset.

That being said, there are key focuses which will put you on the right track for early success and see you hit the ground running
- Create efficient rhythms with daily operations, assess all current systems, trackers and update as necessary. On a daily basis, you’ll be using Asana, Xero and the MS Suite.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing business operations, implement new ways of working in partnership with the Founder.
- Oversee and project manage new launches (approx. 1-2 per quarter), coordinate team to hit deadlines.
- Manage the Founders calendar and appointments (such as podcast interviews, professional meetings, strategy days), and communicate on her behalf when appropriate.
- Track expenses and manage ROI, recommend and guide on appropriate financial changes, and run payroll.
- Work closely with Founder and Marketing Manager to create steps to execute desired strategies and business goals.
- Manage relationships and liaise with business suppliers and external resources, such as accountants, lawyers and other services when required.
