Enthusiastic, Collegiate and supportive team within Federal Government seeking APS6 & EL1 Policy Officer

**Your new company**

Division within a centrally located agency administers essential services and manage national interests.

This Division has a responsibility for service delivery, policy development, delivery of major projects and complex procurements, work health and safety, effective governance and legal reform on unique matters.

**Your new role**

The Policy Section is an enthusiastic, collegiate team focused on supporting each other to deliver outcomes. This section is responsible for:

- Managing th service delivery, legal and legislative framework
- Providing advice to Government on matters
- Managing the Departments' response to unique and sensitive matters in relation to particular cases.
- Policy lead for a Statutory Authority and Administrator of State
- Manage contracts with the ACT Government for Statutory Authority functions
- Prepare briefings for Ministers and the Senior Executives on a range of matters.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this position, you will;
- Have proven experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders with diverse backgrounds
- Ability to understand and interpret complex matters and legislation
- Have excellent written and communication skills

A baseline security clearance is required for this position.
