An opportunity to join Western Health Mental Health and Wellbeing Team based in Sunshine.

A full-time role is available in our HOPE (Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement) team based in Sunshine alongside community adult and older adult colleagues. HOPE provides support to individuals post a suicide attempt or to those displaying serious suicide ideation, intent or planning. HOPE supports clients for a period of 12 weeks, providing assertive and coordinated care. This is role where clinicians deliver evidence based psychological interventions to at-risk clients and their families/significant others.

This is a multidisciplinary role and is open to Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists.

**To be Successful in this Role, you will**:

- Lead with kindness, role modelling open communication and a desire to support and enhance clinical care across the team
- Contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team with a genuine commitment to working within a client-centred framework
- Have knowledge and practice in delivering brief therapeutic interventions
- Have consolidated skills in assessing mental state and risk
- Have an interest and expertise in the area of suicide prevention
- Be collaborative, responsive and empathic
- Have the capacity to consult, liaise and negotiate sensitively with clients, their family or carers, treatment teams and community services
